rebecca parenteau
Rebecca’s career in entertainment plays a little like a movie itself. As the clock strikes midnight on her eighteenth birthday, she leaves her blue collar town, eschews college, and impulsively moves to New York City, landing a fill-in gig as receptionist at Supply & Demand, a top New York production company. With zero relevant experience, but an unassailable work ethic, she commits herself to learning this new business from the ground up, and quickly proves her worth. Just a week later, the company relocates her to Los Angeles to assist in opening their west coast headquarters.
Over the next decade, Rebecca rises through the ranks of commercial production by diligently mastering every job in her path, earning the respect of the top directors and producers in advertising. Eventually she takes the position of Staff Production Manager at world renowned production company MJZ, before landing at Society, her forever home.
Today, in addition to serving as Head of Production for Society, Rebecca is the owner and founder of Speakeasy, a production service company based in Los Angeles, and a Certified Minority / Woman owned business. She lives in Sherman Oaks, CA with her husband and two young sons.
